Zelona contains diclofenac sodium, which is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory (NSAID), which works by inhibiting the action of the cyclooxygenase enzyme. This enzyme functions to help the formation of prostaglandins when wounds occur and cause pain and inflammation.
