description: XIGDUO This drug is used to help control blood sugar levels in patients with type 2 Diabetes Mellitus who cannot be resolved with diet and exercise. Dapagliflozin works by inhibiting the reabsorption of glucose in the distal tubules of the kidney by inhibiting the performance of the SGLT-2 glucose transporter, while Metformin works by increasing sensitivity to insulin. When using this medication, you must ACCORD TO THE DOCTOR'S INSTRUCTIONS.
