description: VOMIZOLE is a drug that contains Pantoprazole. Pantoprazole belongs to the group of proton pump inhibitors (PPI). This drug is used for duodenal ulcers, stomach ulcers, esophageal reflux (moderate and severe), and Zollinger-Ellison Syndrome. Pantoprazole works by inhibiting the hydrogen-potassium adenosine triphosphatase (proton pump) enzyme system of gastric parietal cells. When using this medication, you must ACCORD TO THE DOCTOR'S INSTRUCTIONS. Side effects that may occur when using the drug are:
