description: Vapril is a drug that contains captropil. Vapril functions as a blood pressure lowerer which is often used in some sufferers of hypertension (high blood pressure). Captropil works by inhibiting the angiotensin-converting enzyme which then reduces the amount of angiotensin II (a hormone that causes blood vessels to narrow and increases blood pressure). how_to_use: On an empty stomach: 1 hour before or 2 hours after eating

side_effects: Cough, hypotension, acute renal failure, hyperkalemia, angioneurotic edema (appears in the first month of use), itching, headache, tachycardia (heart rate that exceeds the normal resting rate), palpitations (heart rate abnormalities such as irregular, hard and fast), chest pain, rash, sometimes accompanied by fever, arthralgia, and eosinophilia.
