The menstrual cycle may be shortened &/or bleeding may occur if the treatment sequence is started too early, especially before the 15th day of the cycle. It should not be prescribed if there is uterine bleeding. Suspend treatment at the onset of eye disorders (e.g., vision loss, diplopia, retinal vascular lesions), venous thromboembolism or thrombotic events, severe headache. Administer for a minimum of 12 days/cycle during HRT involving estrogen. Closely monitor patients with a history of thrombophlebitis. May affect the ability to drive or operate machinery. The use of Progesterone (Utrogestan) soft capsules is not contraindicated during pregnancy including the first few weeks. It should not be prescribed to nursing mothers.
