Liver or kidney disorders, patients who have received a kidney transplant. Decreased BP includes symptoms where the head feels lightheaded, dizzy. Angioneurotic edema, including of the tongue, glottis or larynx. May impair the ability to drive or operate machinery. Pregnancy category: Category D: Proven risk to the fetus. However, drugs can still be used if drugs are needed to treat life-threatening conditions, or serious illnesses, where safer drugs cannot be used or are ineffective.
