description: TRESIBA is a sterile preparation containing Insulin Degludec which is intended for use in subcutaneous injection (SK). This insulin is used to control blood sugar levels in patients with type 1 diabetes mellitus and type 2 diabetes mellitus. Insulin Degludec is a basal insulin or long-acting insulin that is used once a day. This insulin works by binding specifically to the human insulin receptor and has the same pharmacological effects as human insulin. When using this medication, you must ACCORD TO THE DOCTOR'S INSTRUCTIONS. Store in the refrigerator (2C - 8C).

Store the pen in the outer cardboard packaging to protect from light.
After opening and using:
The pen can be stored for up to 28 days under room temperature (25C).
Do not return the pen to the refrigerator and do not freeze it.
Do not store the pen with the needle attached.
Keep away from direct light heat. Always put the pen cover on when you are not using it to protect from light.
