description: TRENTAL TABLET is a drug containing pentoxifylline. Pentoxifylline is a xanthine derivative. The exact mechanism of action has not been fully elucidated. But it is thought to reduce blood viscosity, increase leukocyte deformability and erythrocyte flexibility, and reduce neutrophil adhesion/activation. This drug is used for intermittent claudication due to chronic peripheral arterial occlusion. When using this medicine, you MUST ACCORD TO THE DOCTOR'S INSTRUCTIONS.
