description: TRAJENTA DUO TABLET is an antihyperglycemic drug containing a combination of Linagliptin 2.5 mg and Metformin 1000 mg. This drug is used to control glucose levels in type 2 Diabetes Mellitus (DM) patients better than monotherapy treatment with Metformin. Trajenta duo works by binding to DPP-4 which causes an increase in incretin levels. Trajenta duo causes increased insulin secretion and reduced glucagon secretion, thereby improving the homeostasis of the body's glucose levels. When using this medication, you must ACCORD TO THE DOCTOR'S INSTRUCTIONS.
