description: TORAS 8 is a drug containing Methylprednisolone which is a glucocorticoid drug derived from prednisolone which has a working effect by binding and activating intracellular glucocorticoid receptors, the activated glucocorticoid receptors bind to the DNA promoter region (which can activate or suppress transcription) and activate transcription factors which results in gene inactivation through histone deacetylation. This drug is indicated for allergic conditions and reducing inflammation or inflammation suppression. When using this medicine, you MUST ACCORD TO THE DOCTOR'S INSTRUCTIONS. Avoid sudden dose changes. Kidney and liver disorders (including cirrhosis). Child. Pregnancy and breastfeeding.
Monitor BP, blood glucose, electrolytes, growth in children.
