Tivomit 10 mg/5ml Sirup 60 ml

Name: Tivomit 10 mg/5ml Syrup 60 ml

description: TIVOMIT SYRUP is a medicine that contains Metoclopramide 10 mg. Metoclopramide is used to relieve nausea and vomiting caused by chemotherapy induction, radiation, post-surgery, morning sickness, and reflux esophagitis. This drug can also be used by diabetic patients who experience gastroparesis (difficulty emptying the stomach). Metoclopramide works by inhibiting cholinergic smooth muscle stimulation which will increase esophageal peristalsis, increase pressure on the lower esophageal sphincter muscle and increase gastric emptying, but this drug has no effect on the small intestine and large intestine and does not cause an increase in the secretory function of the gastrointestinal tract. . This drug also blocks dopamine D2 receptors in the CTZ (chemoreceptor trigger zone) in the medulla which triggers symptoms of nausea and vomiting, thus producing anti-nausea and anti-vomiting effects. The use of this medicine MUST BE ACCORDING TO THE DOCTOR'S INSTRUCTIONS. Purchasing this drug requires education regarding the appropriate and safe use or consumption of the drug which will incur a fee.
