description: SISOPRIM SYRUP contains the active substances sulfamethoxazole and trimethoprim which are useful for treating: urinary tract infections such as pyelonephritis, pyelitis and acute and chronic prostatitis by sensitive germs such as E. coli, Klebsiella, Enterobacter and Proteus, gastrointestinal tract infections, especially by Salmonella bacteria and Shigella such as typhoid fever, paratyphoid and bacillary dysentery, Respiratory tract infections such as acute bronchitis and acute sinusitis caused by H. influenzae and S. pneumoniae, ENT infections such as acute otitis media and acute sinusitis caused by H. influenzae or S. pneumoniae, other infections such as toxoplasmosis and other infections where selected drugs cannot be given. When using this medicine, you MUST ACCORD TO THE DOCTOR'S INSTRUCTIONS.
