description: SIKSTOP TABLET is a drug containing etoricoxib.
Etoricoxib is an NSAID that is selective for COX-2. This drug has anti-inflammatory (anti-inflammatory) and analgesic (anti-pain) effects by inhibiting prostaglandin synthesis through COX-2 inhibition. The drug is used to relieve symptoms of osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, ankylosing spondylitis, as well as pain and inflammatory signs associated with acute gouty arthritis, chronic musculoskeletal pain, acute pain associated with dental surgery.
