This drug is used as a diet addition to reduce increases in total cholesterol, LDL cholesterol, apo-B & triglycerides and increase HDL cholesterol in patients with primary hypercholesterolemia, combined hyperlipidemia (mixed) & heterozygous & homozygous familial hypercholesterolemia if the response to diet & other non-pharmacological measures is not adequate. When using this medication, you must ACCORD TO THE DOCTOR'S INSTRUCTIONS.
