In addition, it also reduces affective symptoms (such as depression, feelings of guilt and anxiety) associated with schizophrenia. Risperidone is a selective monoaminergic antagonist with high affinity for the 5-HT2 serotonergic and D2 dopaminergic receptors. Risperidone binds to alpha 1-adrenergic receptors. Risperione has no affinity for cholinergic receptors. When using this medication, you must ACCORD TO THE DOCTOR'S INSTRUCTIONS.
