Glibenclamide or Glyburide lowers blood sugar levels by increasing intracellular calcium in pancreatic beta cells thereby stimulating insulin production. Glibenclamide can be used as sole therapy or in combination with other oral anti-diabetic drugs. When using this medicine, you MUST ACCORD TO THE DOCTOR'S INSTRUCTIONS.
