description: Pletaal contains Cilostazol which works by inhibiting PDE which reduces cAMP degradation so that levels increase. Increasing cAMP can reduce platelet aggregation and cause vasodilation (widening of blood vessels) and reduce vascular smooth muscle proliferation. Cilostazol can increase blood flow and the amount of oxygen to flow to the muscles. Pletaal can also be used to treat ischemic symptoms including ulceration, pain and coldness in chronic arterial occlusion. When using this medicine, you MUST ACCORD TO THE DOCTOR'S INSTRUCTIONS.
