description: Otazambon is used to treat otitis externa which is associated with bacterial infections and requires corticosteroid therapy. composition: Each 1 mL contains:
- Polymyxin B sulfate 10,000 IU.
- Neomycin sulfate 3,390 IU.
- Betamethasone base 1 mg.
- Lidocaine hydrochloride 40 mg.

packaging: Box, 1 Bottle @ 8 mL ear drop solution

how_to_use: 1. Wash your hands with soap using running water
2. Clean the ears with a damp cloth or tissue and dry
3. Make sure the packaging is still sealed and the edges are not damaged/broken
4. Tilt your head so that the ear where the medicine will be administered faces upwards.
5. Pull the earlobe up and back (adults) or down and back (children < 3 years old) to straighten the ear canal, then drip the medicine according to the dosage (do not let the tip of the pipette touch the ear).
6. After instilling it, gently pull the earlobe up and down to help the medication flow into the ear canal.
7. When finished, wash your hands thoroughly with soap

side_effects: Allergic sensitization.
Local reactions that have been reported with topical corticosteroids include burning, itching, irritation.
A stinging taste and burning sensation were reported

Warning: Use with caution if the entire eardrum is painful, due to possible Neomycin ototoxicity
If sensitization or irritation occurs, stop treatment immediately.
Periodic examinations are recommended with long-term Neomycin use
