Neomycin works by binding reversibly to the 30s subunit of bacterial ribosomes, thus inhibiting protein synthesis which ultimately inhibits bacterial growth, while Fluocinolone acetonide is a synthetic corticosteroid derivative of hydrocortisone, generally used to reduce inflammation and reduce itching on the skin.
