description: NOVOMIX FLEXPEN is a group of mixed analog insulins containing 70% Protamine Aspart and 30% Aspart insulin. This insulin is used for treatment in patients with Diabetes Mellitus who require insulin. In Type 2 Diabetes patients, NOVOMIX can be given alone or in combination with oral antidiabetic drugs if the insulin combination is approved where the patient's blood glucose is not controlled adequately with oral antidiabetic drugs alone. When using this medicine, you MUST ACCORD TO THE DOCTOR'S INSTRUCTIONS. Side effects that may occur when using the drug are:
Hypoglycemia, injection site reactions, edema

- Patients should consult a doctor before traveling between different time zones.

Before using for the first time:
Store in the refrigerator (2C - 8C).
Do not freeze or place next to frozen storage compartment.
Store the pen in the outer cardboard packaging to protect from light.

After opening and using:
The pen can be stored for up to 28 days under room temperature (25C).
Do not return the pen to the refrigerator and do not freeze it.
Do not store the pen with the needle attached.
Keep away from direct light heat. Always put the pen cover on when you are not using it to protect from light.
