Voltaren contains diclofenac, which is a class of anti-inflammatory steroids (NSAIDs), how it works is by inhibiting the action of the cyclooxygenase enzyme. This enzyme functions to help the formation of prostaglandins when wounds occur and cause pain and inflammation.
