description: MEDSCAB CREAM is a cream preparation that contains permethrin. Permethrin is a broad spectrum antiparasitic against mites, head lice, body lice. Permethrin works on the parasite's nerve cell membrane to disrupt the sodium channels that regulate the polarization of the parasite's membrane, causing paralysis in the parasite. Medscab also functions to treat scabies caused by Sarcoptes scabiei and Pediculus capitis. When using this medication, you must ACCORD TO THE DOCTOR'S INSTRUCTIONS. how_to_use: How to use for adults: - make sure the skin is clean and dry, do not use on injured skin.
- apply a thin layer of cream all over the body including the palms of the hands & feet, especially between the fingers & toes, under the nails, wrists, armpits, genitals and buttocks. How to use for babies:
- For babies and children under 2 years old, it also needs to be applied to the neck, ears and scalp.
- avoid the area around the mouth and eyes.
- Leave the cream for 8 - 14 hours then rinse with soap and water.
- For Pediculus capitis, pour enough Medscab lotion and rub it on the hair of the head, leave it for 8 hours (2-4 hours is enough for children) then comb and rinse.

Side effects that may occur when using the drug are: Hypersensitivity reactions, which can worsen temporary symptoms, such as edema, that accompany scabies (5% cream).

Nervous system disorders: Paraesthesia.

Scabies is usually accompanied by symptoms of itching, erythema (reddish spots), and urticaria.
These symptoms do not immediately disappear with the use of Medscab Cream.
Avoid contact with eyes.
Special attention to: Children (=2 months) and the elderly. Pregnancy and breastfeeding.

Category B: May be used by pregnant women.
