Lincomycin works as a bactericide by killing or stopping the growth of bacteria that are sensitive to Lincomycin. This drug is sensitive to Staphylococcus aureus bacteria; Staphylococcus epidermidis; beta-haemolytic Streptococcus; Streptococcus viridans; Streptococcus pneumoniae; Clostridium tetani; Clostridium perfringens; Corynebacterium diphtheriae. This drug is not effective against Enterococcus faecalis, Neisseria gonorrhoeae, Neisseria meningitidis, Haemophilus influenzae, or other gram-negative bacteria. When using this medication, you must ACCORD TO THE DOCTOR'S INSTRUCTIONS.
