Inlyta is a drug containing axitinib which interferes with the growth of some cancer cells. Inlyta is used to treat advanced kidney cancer (advanced renal cell carcinoma). Inlyta is sometimes given after at least one other cancer treatment has been unsuccessful or stopped working. When using this medicine, you MUST ACCORD TO THE DOCTOR'S INSTRUCTIONS. how_to_use: Consume before or after eating

side_effects: Significant: hypertension, posterior reversible leukoencephalopathy syndrome, proteinuria, thyroid dysfunction, increased Hb or hematocrit, impaired wound healing.
Potentially Fatal: Heart failure, arterial thrombotic events (e.g. MI, TIA, CVA, retinal artery exclusion), venous thrombotic events (e.g. DVT, pulmonary embolism, retinal vein occlusion or thrombosis), hypertensive crisis, hemorrhagic events (e.g. GI or cerebral hemorrhage , hemoptysis, hematuria, melena), GI perforation and fistula formation.

Warning: MUST BE WITH A DOCTOR'S PRESCRIPTION.
Patients with hypertension, heart disease, history or risk of thrombosis. Patients taking strong CYP3A4 inhibitors. Postpone treatment at least 24 hours before scheduled surgery. Moderate hepatic impairment (Child-Pugh Class B). Pregnancy.
