Imbruvica (ibrutinib) is used to treat Waldenstrn macroglobulinemia (WM), chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL), small lymphocytic lymphoma (SLL) and chronic graft versus host disease (cGVHD) in selected patients. Imbruvica is used to help slow the progression of cancer or disease in WM, CLL, SLL and cGVHD. Imbruvica contains Ibrutinib which works by blocking an enzyme called Bruton's tyrosine kinase (BTK) which decreases the survival of cancer B cells and slows the spread of CLL or SLL. Di Imbruvica helps abnormal B cells escape from the nourishing environment in the lymph nodes, bone marrow, and other organs, and Imbruvica also inhibits specific immune cells involved in cGVHD. When using this medicine, you MUST ACCORD TO THE DOCTOR'S INSTRUCTIONS. how_to_use: Can be taken with or without food. Take at the same time every day. Swallow whole with water, do not open/break/chew. Do not consume it with grape juice or bitter orange.

side_effects: Significant: Atrial fibrillation, atrial flutter, dizziness, fatigue, weakness, diarrhea, neutropenia, thrombocytopenia, anemia, lymphocytosis, hypertension, progressive multifocal encephalopathy, second primary malignancy (e.g. nonmelanoma skin cancer, other carcinomas) tumor lysis syndrome.
Potentially Fatal: Bleeding (e.g. intracranial, subdural, gastrointestinal, hematuria, postprocedural), serious infection, renal failure.
