Galvusmet 50 mg/500 mg 10 Tablet

Name: Galvusmet 50 mg/500 mg 10 Tablets

description: GALVUSMET 50 MG/500 MG is a drug used as an antidiabetic drug. This drug contains a combination of antidiabetic Metformin and Vidagliptin. Metformin is an antidiabetic drug from the Biguanide group. This drug works to increase insulin sensitivity, increase peripheral glucose absorption, and suppress glucose production by the liver. Vidagliptin is an antidiabetic drug from the class of dipeptidyl peptidase-4 (DPP-4) inhibitors. Vildagliptin inhibits the inactivation of GLP-1 and GIP by DPP-4, which allows GLP-1 and GIP to potentiate insulin secretion in beta cells and suppress glucagon release by alpha cells of the Islets of Langerhans in the pancreas. Intense increases in the insulin/glucagon ratio caused by increased levels of incretin hormones result in decreased fasting and postprandial hepatic glucose production. This causes reduced glycemia. When using this medicine, you MUST ACCORD TO THE DOCTOR'S INSTRUCTIONS. Purchasing this drug requires education regarding the appropriate and safe use or consumption of the drug which will incur a fee.
