Femaplex is a drug that contains the active substance Letrozole. This drug is used for breast cancer therapy in post-menopausal patients. Letrozole works by inhibiting the aromatase enzyme which converts androgens into estrone and estradiol, thereby suppressing estrogen synthesis in peripheral tissue and breast cancer tissue. This causes the growth of breast cancer cells to be inhibited. When using this medicine, you MUST ACCORD TO THE DOCTOR'S INSTRUCTIONS.
