Not recommended in organ transplant recipients, patients at increased risk of urate formation (e.g. Lesch-Nyhan syndrome, malignant diseases and their treatment) or for the treatment of asymptomatic hyperuricemia. Severe liver and kidney disorders. Pregnancy and breastfeeding.
