description: FARIDEXON 0.5 MG contains dexamethasone, a synthetic glucocorticoid steroid drug which is used as a very strong anti-allergic, immunosuppressant, anti-inflammatory and anti-shock agent. Dexamethasone works by penetrating the cell membrane so that a steroid-protein receptor complex is formed. In the cell nucleus, this steroid-protein receptor complex will bind to DNA chromatin and stimulate mRNA transcription which is part of the protein synthesis process. As an anti-inflammatory, this drug suppresses neutrophil migration, reduces the production of prostaglandins (compounds that function as inflammatory mediators), and causes capillary dilation. When using this medication, you must ACCORD TO THE DOCTOR'S INSTRUCTIONS.
