Name: Diprosta Cream 5 g
description: DIPROSTA CREAM is a topical medicinal preparation containing the active compounds Betamethasone and Gentamicin. This drug is used to relieve skin diseases due to allergic reactions accompanied by secondary infections caused by organisms that are susceptible to Gentamicin. Betamethasone belongs to the glucocorticoid group which has anti-inflammatory, immunosuppressive and metabolic effects. Betamethasone binds specifically to intracellular glucocorticoid receptors. It then binds to DNA to modify gene expression. There is induction of the synthesis of certain anti-inflammatory proteins and inhibition of inflammatory mediators. Overall, the result is a reduction in chronic inflammation and autoimmune reactions. Gentamicin sulfate is a broad spectrum antibiotic that belongs to the aminoglycoside group. Gentamicin has a bactericidal effect (kills bacteria). Gentamicin actively penetrates membranes causing inhibition of protein synthesis. When using this medication, you must ACCORD TO THE DOCTOR'S INSTRUCTIONS.
