description: DENOMIX CREAM is a cream-shaped medication containing Desoxymethasone 0.05% and Neomycin sulfate 0.5%. This cream is used to treat skin disorders in the form of local inflammation and itching due to psoriasis. This cream can also be used for skin conditions that are responsive to corticosteroids. Desoxymethasone is a corticosteroid drug which has anti-inflammatory, antipruritic (relieves itching) and vasoconstrictive effects. This drug works by suppressing the formation, release and activity of inflammatory mediator compounds (quinine, histamine, liposomal enzymes, prostaglandins) through induction of phospholipase A2 inhibitory proteins (lipocortins), followed by inhibition of the release of arachidonic acid. Neomycin belongs to the aminoglycoside class of antibiotics. Neomycin belongs to the aminoglycoside class of antibiotics. Neomycin's mechanism of action is to bind to bacterial ribosomes and inhibit protein synthesis. When using this medication, you must ACCORD TO THE DOCTOR'S INSTRUCTIONS.
