description: CO AMOXICLAV 625 MG TABLET is a generic antibiotic drug combination of Amoxicillin 500 mg and Clavulanic acid 125 mg. Amoxicillin works by destroying peptidoglycan which protects bacterial cell walls. When bacteria divide, amoxicillin works to inhibit the formation of peptidoglycan so that the bacteria lyse and die. Meanwhile, clavulanic acid, a ��-lactam structurally related to penicillin, binds and inhibits ��-lactamase, thereby preventing inactivation of amoxicillin and broadening the spectrum of amoxicillin activity. When using this medicine, you MUST ACCORD TO THE DOCTOR'S INSTRUCTIONS.
