description: CATAFLAM TABLET is an anti-pain medication containing Diclofenac Potassium. Diclofenac Potassium or Potassium Diclofenac is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug which has anti-inflammatory and anti-pain activities. This drug is used for acute & chronic therapy of signs and symptoms of RA (Rheumatoid Arthritis), OA (Osteoarthritis) & ankylosing spondylitis. Management of pain & primary dysmenorrhea, if pain needs to be relieved quickly. Short-term treatment of acute migraine attacks & post-operative pain & inflammation after dental & orthopedic surgery.

Use with caution in patients with known or at risk of hypertension, fluid retention or heart failure, history of ulcers or GI bleeding. Accurate diagnosis & close medical observation need to be carried out in patients with symptoms/history of GI disorders, Crohn's disease, liver, kidney and heart dysfunction, asthma, seasonal allergic rhinitis, swelling of the nasal mucosa, COPD or chronic respiratory infections. Monitor liver function tests, blood pressure (with prolonged use). Patients w/ hepatic porphyria. Seniors, children. May interfere with ability to drive or operate machinery.

Category C: May be risky.
