description: BLOPRESS PLUS TABLET is a combination antihypertensive drug containing Candesartan which is included in the Angiotensin Receptor Blocker (ARB) class and Hydrochlorothiazide which is a diuretic which is useful for lowering blood pressure. Candesartan works by inhibiting the binding of angiotensin II to AT1 receptors in body tissues. This results in widening of the blood vessels so that blood flow becomes smooth and blood pressure decreases. Meanwhile, Hydrochlorothiazide works by increasing urine production and then relaxing blood vessels so that blood flows more easily. When using this medicine, you MUST ACCORD TO THE DOCTOR'S INSTRUCTIONS.
