description: Antiplat contains cilostazol which is useful for treating symptoms of ischemia (lack of blood supply to tissues in the body), such as ulcers, pain and cold caused by chronic blocked arteries, preventing recurrence of brain infarction (tissue damage in the brain). Cilostazol works by inhibiting platelet aggregation (clumping of platelets), vasodilation (widening of blood vessels) and inhibiting the proliferation of vascular smooth muscle cells.
