description: AMOXSAN is an antibiotic drug that contains Amoxicillin. Amoxicillin is a semisynthetic aminopenicillin that inhibits the final transpeptidation step of peptidoglycan synthesis in bacterial cell walls by binding to 1 or more penicillin binding proteins (PBP), thereby inhibiting cell wall biosynthesis and ultimately causing bacterial lysis. This drug is used for infections caused by sensitive bacterial strains such as non-penicillinase-producing Staphylococcus, Streptococcus, E.Coli, H.Influenzae, Streptococcus Pneumoniae, Streptococcus Faecalis, P.mirabilia and N.Gonorrheae (not penicillinase-producing) in diseases skin and soft tissue infections, respiratory tract infections, genitourinary tract infections, and gonorrhea. When using this medication, you must ACCORD TO THE DOCTOR'S INSTRUCTIONS.
