description: AMARYL M TABLET is a combination anti-diabetic drug consisting of Metformin (oral anti-diabetic biguanide group) and Glimepiride (oral anti-diabetic sulfonylurea group). This drug is used for the treatment of type 2 diabetes mellitus. Amaryl M is used with diet and exercise, to treat Type 2 DM when the use of glimepiride or metformin alone does not provide adequate glycemic control. This drug is also used as a replacement for combination therapy with glimepiride and metformin. When using this medicine, you MUST ACCORD TO THE DOCTOR'S INSTRUCTIONS. how_to_use: Should be given with food, give immediately before the first main meal on the same day. Don't reduce your eating schedule. Swallow whole, do not chew/crush.

Severe thrombocytopenia & thrombocytopenic purpura.

Regularly monitor glucose & Hb glycosylation. Symptoms of hypoglycemia are milder or absent, for example, in the elderly, patients with autonomic neuropathy or taking ���-blockers, clonidine, reserpine, guanethidine or other sympatholytic drugs. Temporary switching to insulin in exceptionally stressful situations (e.g. trauma, surgery, febrile infection). Concomitant use of other drugs may affect kidney function.
Monitor kidney function. May impair the ability to drive or operate machinery. Child. Elderly.
